Dear VUČKO TRAIL 2021 participants, few more days separate us from the start of the race, so here are all the important information for the time before and for race day.
1. RACE OFFICE
Race office is located on Bjelasnica, in the BENETTON facility, which is located in the center of Babin dol, at the start of the cable car. You can find the GPS location of the race office here..

Sunday, 10:00 – 12:00
Parking is located near the start of the race in Babin dol on Bjelasnica, and you can find the GPS location of the parking here.
3. BIB PICK UP
You can pick up your BIB and start packs according to the following schedule:
Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 15:00 to 22:00 (Concept Store KUTCHA, Skenderija 15, Sarajevo)
Friday, June 18, 2021, from 18:00 to 22:00, Bjelasnica (Babin Do, BENETTON facility – race office),
Saturday, June 19, 2021, Bjelasnica (Babin Do, BENETTON facility – race office) according to the following schedule:
RED TRAIL – 61 km from 07:00 to 07:45
BLUE TRAIL – 35 km from 08:15 to 09:30
GREEN TRAIL – 13 km from 10:15 to 11:30
ID with a picture is required.
In order to reduce possible crowds, you can also pick up start pack for another person/persons by showing their ID and by signing the Disclaimer.
Pick-up on the day of the race closes exactly on the specified times and competitors who do not pick up the package until the closing will not be able to participate in the race.
It is recommended that, in addition to the mandatory, competitors also bring following equipment:
- Walking sticks;
- Rain and wind resistant jacket, suitable for bad weather;
- Long-sleeved T-shirt;
- Hat or scarf;
- Energy bars;
- Elastic bandage;
- SPF protection
During the race and at the finish (first 10 competitors and random selection after that) the organizer will check the mandatory equipment of the competitors. For each missing part, competitors will be penalized by adding a penalty time of 30 minutes for each missing part!
A competitor will be disqualified if he collects more than 90 penalty minutes, or if he lacks more than 3 pieces of mandatory equipment.
Bring your own water cup/bottle/water container, as there are NO PLASTIC CUPS on refreshment stations and you will not be able to get them there.
A face mask or bandana is a MANDATORY piece of equipment for all races at the start, passing through the finish line and at refreshment stations.
Competitors in starter packs receive a small bag in which at the start, in the race office, they can put things that will be waiting for them at the finish line. You are required to affix a sticker with your start number to the bag.
6. TRANSPORT TO START
We have organized bus transportation from Sarajevo center to the start of the race. Transportation is completely free, if you have indicated in the online application that you need it. If you have not done so, and you need transport to the start, please contact us as soon as possible to secure a seat on the bus. Also, if you have indicated that you need transportation, and you have managed to provide a different transportation, please let us know by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Bus departure is in front of the National Museum in Sarajevo, on Saturday, June 19, 2021. years at there times:
● at 6:00 AM – RED TRAIL – 61 km
● at 8:00 AM – BLUE TRAIL -35 km and GREEN TRAIL – 13 km
The organizer reserves the right to organize the return in accordance with the fulfillment of capacity from 20:00.
7. COVID Start
In accordance with the decisions of the authorities of BIH, maximum number of competitors in one place is 100, in compliance with all COVID-19 measures, so the start will be organized in groups/waves. The group in which you start is determined based on your start number:
RED – 61 km:
1-99 – competitors start in one group/wave
BLUE – 35 km:
100-199 – Group 1
200-299 – Group 2
300-399 – Group 3
GREEN 13 km:
400-499 – Group 1
500-599 – Group 2
600-699 – Group 3
700-799 – Group 4
800-899 – Group 5
There will be two boxes at the start, for the starting group and for the preparation of the next group, so we ask the competitors to appear earlier at the start and follow the speaker’s instructions when filling in the boxes.
!! Competitor must start in his/hers group in order for their time to be recognized !!

Live timing works in such a way that the volunteer enters the start number in the system at the checkpoint. That is why it is very important that your number is clearly visible at all times of the race, especially at checkpoints and refreshments.

RED COURSE TRACK was slightly changed and last GPX log was updated on June 15th.
At places where the trail exits onto asphalt, markings on the road will be spray-painted. Competitors are asked not to remove or move the markers.
10. HOT MEAL AFTER THE RACE
All competitors are entitled to a hot meal after the race. Food will be served in the area in front of the Benetton facility, located at the start/finish. You are entitled to a meal by showing the vouchers that all competitors receive in their starter packs. Lunch will be served on Saturday, June 19, 2021. from 14: 00-20:00.
After 20:00, lunch will be served only for competitors who did not finish the race by 20:00.
