Important dates: 

  • Registration opening: Monday, December 01, 2025
  • Deadline for registration fee payments with a discount – early bird registration: Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 23:59
  • Final deadline for registration fee payments: Friday, May 15, 2026 at 23:59 unless the maximum number of participants in total has been reached
  • Registration closing: Friday, May 15, 2026 at 23:59 unless the maximum number of participants in total has been reached

In case that maximum number of participants has not been reached after May 15, 2026, it will be possible to pay the registration fee for previously registered participants, but without an official race T-shirt. 

The Vučko Trail race is a trail running competition that takes place along paths in Bosnia and Herzegovina with 5 different courses:

  • BLACK – cca. 105 km / +5800m (Sky type of race)
    • Maximum time to complete: 30 hours
    • The race starts on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 08:00 PM, Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • Finish line:  Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • ITRA: 5 points
  • RED – cca. 60 km / +3700m (Sky type of race) 
    • Maximum time to complete: 16 hours
    • The race starts on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 7:00 AM Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • Finish line:  Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • ITRA: 3 points
  • BLUE – cca. 40 km / +1800m
    • Maximum time to complete: 9 hours
    • The race starts on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 8:30 AM Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • Finish line:  Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • ITRA: 2 points
  • YELLOW – cca. 26 km / +1300m
    • Maximum time to complete: 8 hours.
    • The race starts on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 10:00 –  noon Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • Finish line:  Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • ITRA: 1 points
  • GREEN – cca. 14 km / +650m
    • Maximum time to complete: 6 hours.
    • The race starts on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 12:00 –  noon Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • Finish line:  Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    • ITRA: 0 points

The maximum time to reach the finish line is:

  • BLACK course – 105 kilometers: 30 hours. There shall be a time limit:
    • on the 68th kilometer at 17 hours, and
    • on the 84th kilometer at 22 hours. 
  • RED course – 60 kilometers: 16 hours. There shall be a time limit:
    •  on the 45th kilometer at 11 hours, 
  • BLUE course – 40 kilometers: 9 hours,
  • YELLOW course – 26 kilometers: 8 hours,
  • GREEN course – 14 kilometers: 6 hours.

Race BIB and goody bag distribution:

  • Wednesday, 17.06.2026., from 17:00 – 22:00, Sarajevo (all courses

  • Friday, 19.06.2026., Bjelašnica, Javorov do,: from 17:00 till 19:00 (all courses)

  • Saturday, 20.06.2026., Bjelašnica, Javorov do
    – 60 km race: from 06:00 till 06:45 a.m.
    – 40 km race: from 07:15 till 08:15 a.m.
    – 26 km race: from 08:45 till 09:45 a.m.
    – 14 km race: from 10:15 till 11:45 a.m.

Final deadline for registration fee payments: Friday, May 15, 2026 at 23:59

Registration for the race is done exclusively online on the website On Time Timing within the specified deadlines or shorter in case the maximum defined number of participants is reached earlier unless otherwise stated by the organizers.

PRICES AND REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

The entry fee is paid through Payment gateway on website or a transaction account no later than Friday, May 15, 2026. at 23:59.

  • BLACK course 105 km:
    01.12.2025. – 28.02.2026.: 80€(160BAM)
    01.03.2026. – 15.05.2026.: 110€(220BAM)
  • RED course 60 km:
    01.12.2025. – 28.02.2026.: 50€(100BAM)
    01.03.2026. – 15.05.2026.: 65€(130BAM) 
  • BLUE course 40 km:
    01.12.2025. – 28.02.2026.: 40€(80BAM)
    01.03.2026. – 15.05.2026.: 50€(100BAM)
  • YELLOW course 26 km:
    01.12.2025. – 28.02.2026.: 35€(70BAM)
    01.03.2026. – 15.05.2026.: 45€(90BAM)
  • GREEN course 14 km:
    01.12.2025. – 28.02.2026.: 30€(60BAM)
    01.03.2026. – 15.05.2026.: 40€(80BAM)  

Group applications and approved discounts are not allowed during the period of promotional (early bird) prices. After the promotional period (end of February), group registrations are possible with the approval of a -10% discount for groups of more than 10 competitors and according to the valid prices at that time.

Runners with the free race fees, who plan to participate in the Vučko Trail 2026, should contact the organiser no later than Saturday, February 28, 2026 via email info@vuckotrail.ba.

Cancellation of participation and fee reimbursement

If the competitor wishes to cancel his registration, cancellation must be notified by e-mail to info@vuckotrail.ba, following above stated rules: 

  • Competitors who register for the race and do not pay the entry fee by 15.05.2026. for registration fee payment will be considered to have withdrawn.
  • Competitors who have already paid the registration fee, and contacted the organizer (before 15.05.2026.) by emailing info@vuckotrail.ba, can claim a refund of 50% of the entry fee, or they can transfer it to the next race edition. 
  • All competitors who have already paid the registration fee, but have decided to withdraw their registration/participation after 15.05.2026. without notifying the organizer via e-mail (Info@vuckotrail.ba), cannot receive a refund of the entry fee but can collect the competitors shirt (no later than one month after the end of the race).

 Race fee includes following:

  • BIB
  • mountain rescue service
  • meal after race
  • race shirt*
  • refreshment points on race course
  • finisher’s medal for runners that finish race in time limit

In case that maximum number of participants has not been reached after May 15, 2026, it will be possible to pay the registration fee for previously registered participants, but without an official race T-shirt. 

Obligatory equipment:

The competitors must have the following equipment with them, for the full duration of the race :

  • Mobile phone (battery full) and an active number. The phone must be switched on during the whole race. (For all race courses!)
  • Basic first aid kit. (For all race courses!)
  • Survival blanket/heat sheet. (For all race courses!)
  • Whistle. (For all race courses!)
  • Start number (BIB). (For all race courses!)
  • Camel bags or bottles that contain at least one liter of liquid. (Only for BLACK, RED, BLUE and YELLOW courses!).
  • Headlamp with spare batteries. (Only for BLACK and RED courses!).
  • Long sleeve shirt (Only for BLACK course)
  • Long-legged trousers (Only for BLACK course)
  • Cap or bandana (Only for BLACK course)
  • Gloves (Only for BLACK course)
  • Jacket with hood (waterproof) – (Only for BLACK course)

 Recommended equipment

  • Drinking cup or water bottle (Refreshment point would not have cups)
  • Energy bar
  • 40BAM (20EUR) for any case

Important notice:

Required equipment can be worn on the body or in the backpack. The organizer reserves the right to verify the required personal equipment of the competitors during the race and at the finish (first 10 competitors and lottery afterward). For every part that is missing, the competitors will be penalized by adding penalty time (30 minutes for each part missing!) A competitor will be disqualified if he or she collects more than 90 penalty minutes (if he or she lacks more than 3 parts of the required equipment).
